It's time for another GamerZPlanet contest! This time, it's brought to you by moi. So I thought, who doesn't like poker? That's right, nobody. It disappoints me sometimes to hear that some do not know how to play this wonderful game, so I thought, "Hey, lets educate."
The Contest:
Type up, and submit a 1 page or longer INFORMATIONAL article on POKER!
Rules:
The article MUST be INFORMATIONAL, meaning it must be about how to play poker, cheat at poker, or just tips and hints.
Note that the more original your article is, the higher chance of winning, so if you decide to write up a report on how to play poker, and everyone else does the same, your chances are slimmed down.
Also, grammar/spelling counts, so run it through microsoft word a few times and make sure your sentences make sense!!

With talks of Yahoo selling off their non-core assets in order to survive the SE battle (or rather, to survive against Google), it raises big questions of what is to be sold and to whom? We’ve heard that they could be selling Yahoo Answers, but it really bigs the question, who would buy it? All signs point to Answers.com.
Yahoo Answers is a community driven knowledge website that allows users to both submit questions to be answered, as well as answer questions that are submitted by other users. It has grown to become the second largest reference site on the web next to Wikipedia, according to Comscore. Users are encouraged to participate by awarding points for logging in, answering questions, voting and being selected as the ‘best answer’ for any given question. The service attracts nearly 150 million monthly visitors.

Right now, I'm developing a website that is basically a streaming movie portal. What better way to get a decent layout, than a contest?
The features the home-page must include are:- thumbnails of all the recently added movies
- movies being released this week
- a larger 'feature' movie thumbnail reserved for the biggest movie out at the moment (i.e. Dark Knight)
- a sort feature for Recently Added & Most Viewed.
The navigation only needs to include a link to "Community".
A couple of ideas are Yahoo and Apple.
Upload your entry to any image hosting website (in jpg or png), and send me a PM with a link to it.

Yup, that's right: GamerzPlanet now has a public Ventrilo server!
The server handles up to 50 clients, which should be just fine, as I don't expect to whole damn community to get on this thing.
Anyway, I've set up several different gaming channels for different games. I haven't covered all games, so feel free to notify me if you want a specific channel.
