    correct me if im wrong, but aint c++ a pc language? ....and how could a LANGUAGE be downloaded?

    im a noob too here but from what i readed from other tutorials... PC language are USED to write/make programs

    C++ is a programming language, a way of writing instructions for the machine.

    You probably are implying where you can download the compiler, the program that actually translates a source code into binary. See the links above...

    ok if anyone is starting on C i know a nice small compiler to use
    "pacific compiler"
    its not worthy for advaced programmers

    "Pacific C"? I've tried it before. It's a piece of crap. It produces even worse code that the Micro$oft one.

    Right now, I'm using the "Microsoft (R) C Optimizing Compiler Version 6.00A" for any C code that I have to test out. It works well and it's surprisingly small (< 10Mb), even with standard libraries + header files included.

    haha i know its a crap but usefull for beginners :p
    i used to use it before buying a comercial one

    The needed files of MSC 6.00A fits on a single floppy :)

    It's also officially unsupported so you can download it legally from many places...

    On the P2P networks, of course... and you can also find fragments of it by Googling:

    No, it's C only. Otherwise it would be several times bigger.

    er the file that was posted at the beggining is only C++, can anyone link to a good C compiler? And yes, i did google it, but im not sure which programs are good and which are not.

    All C++ compilers should compile C code correctly. C++ is only an extension of C.

    can i know, y i cant install it?
    it said the NTVDM CPU has encountered an illegal instruction
    then i ignore it.. but it still cant install

    Pelles C is also a nice C compiler with IDE.

    Google Pelles C.
